The Restaurant

At the Rocca, cooking is never an isolated gesture. It is the result of hands, time, space, and shared attention. A vision that continues every day, service after service.

At the Rocca, cooking is never an isolated gesture. It is the result of hands, time, space, and shared attention. A vision that continues every day, service after service.

We found a home within the Orsini Fortress, a place that does not ask to be told, but listened to. Its stones carry time naturally. We simply tried to inhabit them with respect.

The spaces are intimate, designed to slow down. The fire lit accompanies conversations, the light remains soft, allowing people and gestures to bring life to the room. From the windows, the gaze opens onto the Maremma: the valley that changes color, the Londini waterfall, the landscape that breathes together with the rhythm of the day.

We wanted to create different places for different moments. A more intimate room welcomes those who desire discretion and shared time. The cellar, carved into the tuff, preserves the wines as a living part of the experience, allowing them to mature in silence.

When summer arrives, we move outside. Under the large plane tree, the tables overlook the square and the restaurant becomes part of the village, amidst light, air, and daily life.

The Fortress is not designed to be observed. It is meant to be experienced, slowly.
