Wine, for us, is a way of welcoming. Fortune makes it personal.
Carved into the ancient tuff of the Orsini Fortress, the winery is a space that we have chosen to preserve before even filling it. Here the wine rests. It is not exposed, but kept safe. Each bottle becomes part of a journey created by Fortuna, who welcomes guests and guides the dining room with the same care she uses to select the wines. Her presence is the first encounter with La Rocca: she listens, observes, and creates a balance between people, tables, and the rhythm of the service.
Mother of Mirio and soul of hospitality, Fortuna represents the natural continuity of who we are: an open house, even before being a restaurant. The selection looks to Tuscany and Maremma, conversing with other Italian regions and some French houses. We do not seek prestige, but wines capable of accompanying the right moment. In the silence of the tuff, the wine continues its work: it matures slowly, finding the necessary time to express itself.
Fortuna advises discreetly, allowing each choice to arise from listening. The wine thus becomes part of the relationship between the kitchen, the dining room, and the guest.
At La Rocca, wine is not a separate element. It is a gesture of hospitality.
